This hotel's location is very convenient to Spark Arena. The walk was only about 3 minutes. I also found it to be less than 10 minutes to the bottom of Queen Street and Britomart shopping. The room size, a studio, was VERY good.
The woman at the desk stated the hotel was full, with nothing they could do. The staff's attitude was the WORST I have experienced as a seasoned traveler.

convenient location clean linen room amenities breakfast preparation
the location was really convenient for the spark arena. the room had cutlery and crockery for breakfast preparation. clean linen was provided throughout my stay. it was nice to have these amenities available .
soap for the handbasin in the bathroom was missing.

i found the front desk helpful storing my luggage before my room was ready. this location is a short walk to supermarkets. the hotel provided a discount for the public car park nearby.
the wi-fi was slow at times!

top floor nice view new facilities reasonable price noisy room soundproofing issues security deposit
the receptionist offered a top floor room for better views all facilities seemed new the room also looked new i found this quite appealing the price was reasonable too the location was convenient with eateries nearby
the room was somewhat noisy i could hear the room next door and outside traffic quite clearly i was on the 13th floor i was a bit surprised by this lack of soundproofing a security deposit was taken despite the absence of a restaurant or minibar i am still awaiting its return
